> Half-Life: Alyx , a new chapter of the Valve series designed for virtual reality, has been available for a few days for PC. The VR game has been welcomed quite well both from the public and from the critics, despite the initial skepticism towards the fact that it is a playable title in virtual reality.
Now, the Nick930 channel has released an interesting film, in which Alyx is compared directly to the equally famous Half-Life 2 . Find the video a little further down, in the dedicated player.
Recall that the second episode of the Valve series, launched in 2004, used the Source Engine , while Alyx is based on the Source 2 Engine .
But not only: the modder Icedwhisper helped by the group of programmers of the channel YouTube Unreal Academy , have made a video describing the steps to be taken to be able to play Alyx without the aid of a virtual reality viewer. Finally, a group of Italian players has made the amateur translation of the masterpiece in VR.
