September is now past the first half, which officially kicks off a videogame season full of surprises, just as the Italian software ranking is surprising this week, which sees GTA V lose the top spot.
During the summer only FIFA 21 had managed to unseat His Majesty Grand Theft Auto V from the throne, which has now happened again thanks to another sports title ( but not related to football).
Last week, GTA did indeed beat games of a certain level such as F1 2021 and Marvel ‘Spider-Man , but apparently this time the music seems to have changed.
The interesting indiscretion linked to the next-gen GTA V trailer, which apparently would hide the temporal setting of the next GTA 6 .

IIDEA – the Association representing the industry of videogames in Italy – has in fact published the weekly ranking of videogames best sellers in Italy , from 6 to 12 September 2021.
In the first position in fact stands NBA 2K22 in PS5 version, the new basketball simulator developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports, which represents the most accurate to date I’ve always been playing on the NBA.
In second place, as mentioned above, the now evergreen GTA V , followed in third place by the PS4 console version of NBA 2K22.
The sports game on basketball therefore takes home two positions (gold medal and bronze medal), and thus proving to be an absolute success in our country.
The PC ranking instead sees Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege , the tactical first person shooter produced and developed by Ubisoft, soar at the top of the list.
To follow, the equally famous strategic and management title Sid Meyer’s Civilitation VI , followed in third place by Tales of Arise , the Japanese role-playing game produced by Bandai Namco.
Regarding Grand Theft Auto , you read that GTA V next-gen has just been postponed to next year, which does not seem to have pleased many players?
