September is over, although this week the Italian software ranking sees GTA V losing both the first and the second position, after days of undisputed dominance.
The last time anyone managed to oust Grand Theft Auto V from the throne it was thanks to NBA 2K22 on PS5, the new basketball simulator developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports.
The open world Rockstar Games had indeed been beaten without too many compliments, although in the following weeks the game again gained the top spot.
Who knows if this is also due to the postponement of the next-gen version of the game, postponed to next year without too many compliments.

IIDEA – the Association that represents the videogames industry in Italy – has in fact published the weekly ranking of videogames best-selling in Italy , from 20 to 26 September 2021.
In the first position we find Just Dance 2021 in the Nintendo Switch version, the latest chapter of the well-known musical series by Ubisoft.
In second place a title of a certain thickness, namely Death Stranding Director’s Cut , the latest masterpiece by Hideo Kojima in a revised and corrected version available exclusively for PS5 console.
In third place, as expected, GTA V in the PS4 version, which this week must therefore be satisfied with a simple bronze medal.
New luck that the fifth installment of Grand Theft Auto is instead the winner of the PC title ranking, in fact taking first place.
Second position for a truly excellent return, namely the action game Bayonetta , developed by PlatinumGames and produced by SEGA.
Third and last place for Cities Skyline s , the now well-known management software developed by Colossal Order and published by Paradox Interactive.
Speaking again of Grand Theft Auto , you read that the GTA Remastered Trilogy would be very close to the official announcement (as well as the release may not be that far) ?
