Rockstar Games has obtained tax relief in the United Kingdom for the construction of a new project, which could be the unofficial but already highly anticipated GTA 6 .
As noted by GamesRadar, the firm made requests for relief from Video Games Tax Relief, a fund for video game development, approved because the project is considered “culturally British”.
These reliefs are normally granted to studios that are working on “high cost productions with cultural connections to the UK”.
Considering that Rockstar North, the software house that gave birth to the franchise (although initially with the name of DMA Design), is a historical reality of the place, it is reasonable to assume that this maneuver is aimed at foraging the work on GTA 6.
For the moment we are still in the bed of pure speculation and wilder rumors, but something seems to be moving and in a more concrete way also on the side of leaks, which begin to agree on historical setting and location.
