British police confirmed they have indicted a teenager arrested on suspicion of hacking , who is reported to be linked to the recent data breach of GTA 6 and Uber.
London police said on Saturday that the 17-year-old arrested Thursday in Oxfordshire was charged of two crimes of violation of the conditions of provisional freedom , as well as of two telematic crimes.
The boy will appear before Highbury Corner Youth Court on Saturday 24th September. Although police have not commented on whether the arrest is linked to this month’s Rockstar Games data breach, reporter Matthew Keys cited sources according to which the teenager in question – who is apparently known only as “A.K.” due to his age – he was also arrested in connection with that attack.

The teenager is reportedly associated with a group called Lapsus $ and has already been arrested earlier this year for also violating Microsoft and NVIDIA.
«The arrest occurred following an investigation by federal law enforcement officials in the United States, who worked with their counterparts in the United Kingdom to identify A.K. as suspect in both attacks », the source of Keys said.
