GTA 6, how big will the map be compared to that of GTA 5? A fan shows it to us

GTA 6 by Rockstar Games and Take-Two continues to be one of the most anticipated games ever, although the actual title is seen little or nothing.

The little information available on the successor to GTA V (find the next-gen edition on Amazon) comes in fact from the leak of recent months, a raw version which unfortunately was not followed by any official reveal.

In the past few hours, a screen has appeared on the net that has certainly rekindled the enthusiasm of the fans, ready to return to the open world of Rockstar.

And if the number of explorable cities of the next GTA 6 looks like be really impressive, someone has well thought of comparing the – alleged – map of the sixth chapter with that of the fifth episode.

As also reported by Game Rant, in fact, the Reddit user known as “tusstaster” has shown that the map of GTA 6 could be much larger than that of its predecessor.

It goes without saying that this news does not come from Rockstar or any other official source, although the user has stated that the map is based on specific details such as coordinates, images, gameplay footage, and even road signs.

In fact, the map appears much larger than Los Santos, about three times as wide, and features areas called Little Haiti, Rockridge and Homestead.

There is also Venetian Isle, as well as several other small islands, including one that houses a commercial district. There are also some major highways, such as I-197 and I-77, with the latter ending at Port Gellhorn Racetrack.

For many, it stands to reason that Rockstar would opt for a bigger and better game than GTA 5. However, we reiterate that there are still no confirmations regarding the GTA 6 map, which should in any case also see the welcome return of Vice City. We’ll see as soon as the game is revealed to the general public.

Remaining on the subject, Take-Two has recently decided that GTA 6 will not be available for free on Day One, although it has not completely ruled out that the game may still arrive on PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass.

But that’s not all: Rockstar Games recently hired several engineers in order to create the best real-time water system ever seen in a game of this magnitude.

Finally, GTA Online may have recently teased a character that will appear in Grand Theft Auto 6.
