GTA 4 has been a much discussed chapter, although there are many who adore the game.\r\nLeaving aside GTA 5 (which you can find on Amazon), the fourth chapter has in fact put a really good Liberty City on the table.\r\ After all, already several weeks ago I showed you an 8K video that highlights the GTA 4 map recreated with the GTA 5 graphics engine but with various graphic modifications.\r\nNow, the latest milestone achieved by the community is the creation of an extraordinary recreation of Liberty City, which adds a new dimension to the open world of GTA 5 (via Tech4Gamers).\r\n\r\nThe mod, called Liberty City Preservation Project, aims to do exactly what the name suggests: bringing the map, vehicles, interiors and pedestrians of GTA 4 into GTA 5.\r\nThe idea is to faithfully recreate the atmosphere of Liberty City, combining the visual beauty of GTA 5 to the nostalgia of 4.\r\nThe radio stations from the original game have also been imported into the mod, trying to capture the same feeling that fans love about Liberty City.\r\nIn essence, this project (found here) is the long-awaited version of a remaster of GTA 4, but made by Rockstar.\r\nIn the past, in fact, there was talk of a remake of the fourth chapter which was then cancelled, disappointing fans who hoped to see the title shine on platforms modern. \r\nHowever, the quality of this mod also raised concerns. Fans fear that Take-Two or Rockstar Games may decide to block the project. If this were to happen, the mod could be at risk.\r\nDespite these concerns, Liberty City Preservation Project is one of the best examples of how the community’s passion can breathe new life into a title loved by many, just when it seems that hopes for an official remaster they have vanished.\r\nSticking on the topic, another video still shows GTA 4 with a series of graphic improvements available only for PC players.
