Santa Monica Studio has announced that the God of War Photo mode is available starting today with a free update.

God of War is available from April 20 and, as promised, here comes this additional modality through which to take photographs within the wonderful landscapes recreated by the California software house.

The mode can be activated by touching the touch pad, after activation, or through a dedicated item in the menu reachable by pressing the Options button.

As with any good Photo mode, analog levers can be used to navigate the scene, while R2 and L2 will be used to adjust the zoom.

Inside you can access five different tabs, to add filters of various kinds, frames, manage depth of field and establish the behavior of the characters on the screen.
