Geralt is practically the grinch in The Witcher frenzied Christmas trailer

You have imagined Geralt of Rivia performing a few million tasks – from monster hunter to hunter and that’s it, to knight, bodyguard and muscular worker who can take care of tasks among the most diverse, from cutting wood to slaughtering cattle. But, admit it, you would never have imagined him as some kind of Santa Claus. More credible, perhaps, as some kind of Grinch .

Mmmmmh.

Surely Netflix also thinks so, considering that The new trailer for the TV series The Witcher is a zany and fun Christmas-themed montage, in which the characters do not fail to point out a no n-impressed-Geralt that it’s coming… Christmas. Between one puzzled “mmmh” and the next, the dark witcher of Henry Cavill is so surrounded by festoons, Christmas-themed monsters and bright lights that make Stranger Things the envy and Mrs. Byers.

We leave you to the video directly below, wishing you a lot of fun!

We remind you that The Witcher is seeing its second season being filmed, which has no release date yet. The series will resume the events of the first, which will be followed directly, drawing inspiration above all from the volume The Blood of the Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski. Henry Cavill will return as Geralt, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as the young and powerful Ciri.

The series is directly inspired by the literary saga and is not related to video games , which instead represent the interpretation that CD Projekt RED has given of the events recounted in Sapkowski’s pages. Have you already seen Nilfgaard’s new armor, updated with the new costume designer?

If you want to follow Geralt’s gaming adventures, you should get your hands on The Witcher 3 in full edition!
