Rod Fergusson shared a tweet in the past few hours to reveal that Gears Pop! has already reached (and surpassed) 1 million downloads.
The studio head of The Coalition has not hidden the satisfaction for this goal, thanking the “for a great first week” fans.
Fergusson has also launched a small teaser, explaining that there is “other strong stuff coming”, we don’t know if referring to the franchise (there is Gears 5 coming out on September 10th) or the game itself.

For those of you who don’t know him, Gears Pop! is a free-to-play mobile title set in the Gears of War universe focused on typical saga cooperation.
Within the game, you will be able to build your own team of protagonists – from Kait to Marcus – facing other players around the planet, enjoying co-op and facing other ways to prove your skills.
