Many companies are clearly suffering, in a historical moment in which video games have never been so in crisis, but From Software will do everything not to fire anyone, as long as Hidetaka Miyazaki is in charge.\r\nWith an almost weekly we often report to you about many studios and companies that almost close their doors, or at least have to manage considerable cuts in their workforce.\r\nNot even giants like Xbox, who have made the decision to close, escape this logic. also very important companies such as Tango Gameworks, which officially closed its doors not long ago.\r\nSome very well-known companies have been saved, and among these there is also From Software.\r\nAs reported by IGN US, in fact, Miyazaki said he can’t 100% guarantee that From Software will be safe from job losses, but he won’t let that happen as long as he has a say within the company.\r\nIt must be said that From Software is owned by the Japanese group Kadowaka Corporation, so Miyazaki does not have full control of company decisions.\r\nHowever, the director of Elden Ring (you can find it on Amazon) has expressed his desire to do everything possible so that there are no other layoffs:\r\n\r\n«Speaking to myself and this company, I want to say that this is not something I would wish on the staff at From Software in a million years. I’m pretty sure that our parent company Kadokawa understands this and shares this point of view.”\r\n\r\nMiyazaki also spoke about the ex-president of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, who also made headlines for cutting his salary at a time when the company was in crisis in the Wii U era, taking the philosophy of the late Nintendo president as an example.\r\n”As long as this company is under my responsibility, it is something I would not allow to happen », closes Miyazaki talking about layoffs.\r\nOn the topic there was also a recent intervention by Shawn Layden, very interesting, who wanted to give advice to all publishers on how to deal with this moment.
