The European Week of Sport has ended, which since 2015 has emphasized the importance of sports for the well-being of our body. For the first time, however, eSports were also part of the initiative , with the participation of the team of professional players from Mkers – a team that goes hand in hand with sport traditionally understood having among the investors, among others, well-known faces such as Daniele De Rossi and Alessandro Florenzi.
« The European Week of Sport , held from 23 to 30 September, produced numerous activities in the area with a crucial objective: promoting physical and mental well-being and healthy and active lifestyle. To do this, Mkers , the only team in the eSport sector to have participated in the project, involved great personalities from the web and the competitive world, to try to raise public awareness on the importance of physical activity and the culture of sport »we read in the official note issued for the event.
A union between physical, mental and sporting preparation is essential to succeed in the world of eSports: training and improvement are fundamental, just like in any traditional sport.
«The European Week of Sport , thanks to the exceptional support obtained by all the participants, had excellent feedback on the most relevant social channels, landing for the first time also on Twitch and Tik Tok , the most popular platforms of the moment. Under the hashtag #BeActive , in fact, users posted their own content, designed to highlight their link with sport and physical activity. Going into detail, Tik Tok exceeded 2.5 million views in just seven days, Instagram reached more than 400,000 profiles , while users generated 400 videos between Twitch and Tik Tok, proving to be extremely involved in the activity. »
