More than twelve months after the debut, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth players (here you find our review) continue to make surprising discoveries that demonstrate the depth of the combat system conceived by Square Enix developers.
One aspect that, paradoxically, risks going unnoticed due to the general difficulty not too high of the title, which pushes many users not to experience its combat mechanics.
In the last few days, the Content Creator Brad Man has published two videos on YouTube that highlight some hidden properties of moves such as Tifa Overpower and the Crescent Claws and Redo XIII Raper Touch skills.
In particular, Overpower proves to be able to completely overturn a fight, allowing you to cheer and the rest of the party to stop and throw even the heaviest enemies into the air. These are details that are never clearly explained by the game, helping to underestimate one of the most refined combat systems of modern RPGs.
These discoveries are added to a long list of small secrets that the community has brought to light from the launch. Rebirth arrived for the first time on PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024, and then landed on PC the following year, with a flourishing Mod scene capable of introducing additional features and variants of the gameplay.
Although the changes of the community have further enriched the experience, the original game remains in itself a production of the highest level.
Today Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available on PC and PlayStation 5 all over the world. With the first chapter of the trilogy, Final Fantasy VII Remake, ready to land on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/s, now it seems inevitable that the rest of the saga will arrive on all the main modern platforms.
