Square Enix has announced that, from today until August 16, 2018, the Mobile RPG Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will offer the public the world of Final Fantasy VIII with a limited-edition collaboration event.
During the event, players can join the SeeD, the special mercenary unit of FINAL FANTASY VIII, to defeat powerful enemies and gain rewards. The most famous characters in the game, Squall, Rinoa and Zell, will also be available via a “featured summon” and can join the teams of the players.
Squall and Rinoa have been enhanced for the global audience compared to their Japanese version. From 8 August, players can also explore the FINAL FANTASY VIII dungeon for additional rewards.
In addition, with the recent introduction of 7-star unit upgrades, some units can now become stronger than ever. By fulfilling certain conditions, players can now enhance their favorite characters, including 7-star Lightning, Dark Knight Cecil, Luneth, Orlandeau, Gilgamesh, Olive, Dark Fina Seabreeze, Dark Fina, Wilhelm, Marie, Ramza and Delita.
FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS Fan Festival 2018 will celebrate the second anniversary of the game from 8 to 9 December 2018 at the Long Beach Convention Center in California (USA).
