Fallout season 2 is shown with the official Italian trailer

The journey through the ruins of post-apocalyptic America is about to reserve new surprises for the protagonists of the television series based on the famous video game.
After the finale of the first season which saw Lucy MacLean and the bounty hunter known as Ghoul go on the trail of the girl’s father, the second season promises to explore one of the most iconic places in the gaming universe: New Vegas.
Fans of the video game saga will immediately recognize some characteristic elements. Among these stand out The Kings, a bizarre band of ghouls who wear unlikely wigs and questionable leather jackets in an attempt to emulate Elvis Presley.
In the game Fallout: New Vegas, this group occupies the slums of Freeside, suggesting that the two protagonists will pass through that area during their manhunt.

The narrative will resume exactly where it left off. Lucy, played by Ella Purnell, and Ghoul, played by Walton Goggins, are still determined to bring to justice Hank MacLachlan, the Vault supervisor who has turned out to be anything but the respectable figure Lucy believed her father to be. As expected in the Waste Lands, the chase will put them in front of extravagant, fascinating and often bloodthirsty characters.
A particular detail caught the attention: a guttural and deep voice that addresses Ghoul in the footage could belong to a Super Mutant, one of the most imposing and dangerous humanoid creatures in the Fallout universe.
These massive beings represent a constant threat to anyone who ventures into the contaminated areas, and their presence confirms the showrunners’ intention to further raise the stakes.
The first season had carefully constructed its mythology, following the events of Lucy, a young woman raised in the protected environment of an underground Vault, forced to go out into the outside world to save her kidnapped father.
During his journey he met Maximus, a member of the Brotherhood of Steel played by Aaron Moten, and the cynical Ghoul. The discovery of his father’s true activities had marked a crucial turning point in his evolution as a character.

Previous promotional materials had already revealed significant elements. The appearance of the Lucky 38 Casino, a fundamental location of the video game set in New Vegas, had guaranteed fans that Mr. House, a mysterious figure seen briefly in the first season, will have a much more relevant role. The enigmatic tycoon who rules the city from the top of his casino represents one of the most complex characters in the narrative universe.
The latest trailer ends with a breathtaking action scene: a figure clad in Power Armor takes on an angry Deathclaw with his bare hands. These monstrous creatures represent perhaps the most lethal threat that can be encountered in the video games of the series, true biological war machines capable of tearing a human being to pieces in a few seconds. Their inclusion demonstrates how determined the authors are to spare no expense in terms of special effects and adrenaline-pumping action.
The television adaptation, produced by Prime Studios, was able to capture the satirical and violent essence of Bethesda Softworks’ video game franchise, mixing retrofuturist science fiction, social criticism and dark humor.
The success of the first season demonstrated that it was possible to bring the unique atmosphere of such a particular narrative universe to the small screen, where nostalgia for the America of the 1950s merges with devastating post-nuclear scenarios.
With blood, guts and intrigue on the horizon, December promises to be a month full of thrills for moviegoers. The fusion between elements familiar to players and new original storylines continues to represent the winning formula of this production, capable of satisfying both veterans of the saga and newcomers.
