For many years now there has been talk of the return of F-Zero on Nintendo Switch, but this time there it’s a really important new hint that bodes well.
The futuristic racing game that inspired titles like Redout, which you can get on Amazon at a great price, has long been awaited in a new episode that is apparently slow to arrive.
If the fans have long been asking to run again at the speed of light, only a few fake announcements have somehow cured the enthusiasm.
After all, F-Zero from time to time returns to the center of discussions of fans (so much so that many think it will be announced sooner or later) the time has come for a new, really not bad indiscretion.
As reported by My Nintendo News, a new indiscretion is circulating in these hours and concerns, in fact, the beloved F-Zero franchise, whichmany believed had been shelved (as it has been many years since the release of an official title of the franchise).
Next Level Games, the talented team behind Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Luigi’s Mansion 3, is reportedly working full-time on a remaster of the classic F-Zero released on the Nintendo GameCube console, i.e. the beloved F-Zero GX.
In December 2022, the leaker “NateTheHate” had in fact candidly admitted that “F-Zero’s time will arrive in 2023”, therefore – strictly speaking – we should be almost there. As always, who will live will see.
Recall that in 2011 Nintendo contacted Criterion Games, a developer known for Burnout, asking the team to create a new chapter of F-Zero for Wii U.
However, the Grande N did not receive a positive response, since Criterion was committed to Need for Speed Most Wanted and therefore, in the end, an agreement was not reached.
After all, we’re not the only ones who want information about F-Zero, since months ago a Nintendo shareholder used her time in a meeting to expressly ask a question about the franchise.
F-Zero, however, at the moment seems to be destined only to live in memories, or in Nintendo Switch Online, where the old chapters are playable.
