Nintendo Switch is a console whose sales have reached high numbers.
The popularity of Nintendo’s hybrid console has certainly not waned, especially with the recent arrival of Nintendo Switch OLED , a revised and slightly updated model compared to the classic one that proposes the introduction of the new screen to replace the old LCD.
Despite news of the imminent arrival of a new Switch Pro model , initially skeptical fans had to change their mind and definitely loved the Switch OLED.
At this point it would be questionable if we can really expect the arrival of the much talked about Switch Pro, or if it would be better to focus on the long-term future of the big N with the arrival of a real new console.
According to analyst Piers Harding- Rolls l or more likely scenario is the latter, or the arrival in a few years of a new console with no Pro model in the middle .
On GamesIndustry.biz Harding-Rolls wrote:
« I still expect the year-on-year console market to be fairly stable in 2022, with Switch sales declining and exiting what have been two fantastic years for the console gaming market. However, the Nintendo Switch family of consoles will still be the one that will sell the most in 2022, with around 21 million sold to consumers thanks to the arrival of the Switch OLED “.
And again:
« I’m not expecting Switch Pro in 2022. We are expecting a new Nintendo console in late 2024 , so I’m not at all convinced that a Pro model will appear on the market ».
So it seems that fans have to put a stone on the elusive Nintendo Switch Pro and wait directly for the next generation of consoles from the Kyoto house.
There will certainly be a long time to wait before you know anything, so in the meantime you can take a look at the new way to take screenshots from your Switches in a much less complicated way.
