Elden Ring prepares for The Game Awards 2022 with a new record

Elden Ring was among the debut titles, so to speak, of the 2022 videogame and it’s time to draw conclusions.

The work of From Software which was among the last next-gen titles of the year (you can find it for PlayStation 4 on Amazon) marked a very important moment in the life of the ‘Japanese company.

Such an impressive success, that of Elden Ring , which led the software house to take the remarkable choice of becoming an independent publisher.

And while fans of From Software’s latest soulslike just can’t to break away from the Interregnum, and find secrets after 730 hours of play, the title gets a new record.

That Elden Ring is a success we have said it a lot of times , from Software said it and, in short, we realized a little all.

But it is difficult to realize how much it is still selling , and what numbers it has reached in this 2022.

As Bandai Namco reports in its latest financial report (via RealmiCentral ), Elden Ring has achieved a new sales peak.

In the ritual question and answer session with investors, Bandai Namco revealed that the soulslike has managed to total 17.5 million copies sold.

In June of this year Elden Ring had “stopped” (so to speak) at 16.6 million . After a few months there was another million copies which, considering the months that separate us from the original release, is still a very important result.

Elden Ring then comes close to The Game Awards 2022 with another good result, even if it was beaten by God of War Ragnarok at least as far as nominations are concerned.

Nominations that prepare us for the evening of December 8 , while Geoff Keighley recently revealed which games will compete for each prize: here are the nominations.
