FROMSOFTWARE has launched post-launch support for Elden Ring Nightreign, and the incoming content could refresh the interest in the less loved expansion of the series.
Starting today, the game (which you find on Amazon) will begin to accommodate remixed versions of its bosses, called Everdark Sovereigs, which will propose more difficult challenges than their original counterparts.
The first to receive this treatment is Gaping Jaw, which can be addressed in its Everdark variant until June 26th.
More precisely, Everdark battles will only be accessible to those who have already defeated the bosses in their original form, and each meeting will be available for a limited time. After Gaping Jaw, it will be up to the enhanced versions of Sentient Pest and Darkdrift Knight, with other bosses that will come later.
Those who succeed in the company will get a special object as a reward: the Sovereign Sigil.
This update represents the second significant intervention on the game after the update of the first week, which simplified the solitary experience.
In short, these remixed bosses seem to want to offer a challenge aimed at the most experienced players, but also a form of time endgame that was missing in the original package. However, it remains to be seen if it will be enough to recover the consent between the fans of the original title, all too appreciated by the community.
The idea of Everdark Sovereigs is intriguing, but we hope that FromSoftware will be able to improve his spin-off even more (which the fans hoped ardently, after all).
I also remember that last week the game updated with a rather important update, which introduced both general balances and a long series of bug corrections, as well as some specific fixes for the PC version.
But not only that: you also read that someone asked for a Elden Ring with 127 players simultaneously, and even if at the moment it remains only a theoretical possibility, apparently perhaps it would be feasible.
