DOOM Eternal, trailer reveals the first single-player expansion

> Bethesda unveiled the first expansion of the single-player campaign for DOOM Eternal , The Ancient Gods, Part 1. The expansion was unveiled with a teaser today on the sidelines of QuakeCon, in an atypical home edition due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is the description of the expansion, which will be divided into two parts published separately, which will continue the story of DOOM Eternal :

Your victory over and infernal armies saved mankind from extinction, but at a great price.

An imbalance of power in the heavens requires that the true ruler of this universe step forward and restore order.

Fight in uncharted territories of the universe of DOOM and exterminate demons never seen in the your eternal fight against the forces of evil.

That’s not the only news from the DOOM Eternal -themed QuakeCon, though.

Bethesda has announced that the game will be compatible, like The Elder Scrolls Online , starting from day one with PS5 and Xbox Series X .

An upgrade will also be available soon for both consoles, and will not charge any price for fans.
