Call of Duty Warzone , the free-to-play version of the popular Activision saga, seems to be enjoying excellent health lately , thanks also to boost due to the launch of Black Ops Cold War .
The game recently welcomed a new mode, which adds extra variety to the already substantial pot of the game.
As if that weren’t enough, recent rumors would like the imminent arrival of a zombie mode, an element that has now become a real cornerstone of the Call of Duty saga. p>
This eventuality would go hand in hand with the rumor that an imminent nuclearization of the Verdansk map, caused precisely by the swarming of zombies on the island .
Today we add another piece to the puzzle concerning Verdansk’s future, because according to colleagues at VCG the map could disappear and never return .
Colleagues echo user Tom Henderson’s tweet, which we report below.
When I heard this, I immediately thought that a time machine or portal could be added to the story to have us return to Verdansk in a year or two… But this is just my speculation. More on this at a later date.

As we can see, Henderson separates two details, one of which he is said to be certain and a speculation of him.
The thing he is sure of is that the plan is to make Verdansk disappear forever , without dedicating a separate playlist to her.
His hypothesis, however, is that the developers could put a time machine in the game (time travel is not new to the series after all) to allow us to return to Verdansk in a little while.
To find out what Verdansk’s fate will be, we just have to wait a little longer. What seems certain by now is that we will soon see a new map appear in Call of Duty Warzone .
In the meantime, we remind you that the recent Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is now also available on next-gen consoles, with Season 2 of post-launch support currently underway.
The latest main chapter in the saga, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, is currently available at a discounted price.
