Apex Legends has been available for a few hours and has achieved a remarkable goal in terms of the number of unique registered users.
Many people have wondered whether Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts have implemented cross-play support in the game, free on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The answer is negative for the moment, but it’s not said that – as happened with Fortnite and Rocket League – things can not change.
“At the launch, we are on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.They are independent and have independent progressions”, explained the design director Mackey McCandlish.
“But it’s the same game, we’re not cross-platform at launch, it’s definitely an area of opportunity”, he added about potential developments in this sense.
It could actually be an interesting opportunity for a publisher like EA, being the first among the majors to support the cross-p lay.
