The fact that CD Projekt RED has decided to propose its The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt also on Nintendo Switch has always sounded like a small miracle: the role-playing game of the Polish house, in fact, seemed decidedly too generous not to technically crush the hybrid of the Kyoto house, which makes freedom of approach and not brute force its point of diamond.
Nevertheless, the port created by Saber Interactive saw a small miracle take place, with the journey of Geralt who – although adapted in the technical sector for the occasion – has also become portable. But how much has this Continent to take with you on the Switch conquered the players? According to CD Projekt itself, quite a lot.
CEO Adam Kicinski , during the meeting with the investors, confirmed that The Witcher 3 on Switch brought important receipts in the company’s coffers, to the point of define it «a good source of income» .
This means that there is a market, indeed, for the works of CD Projekt also on Switch, beyond what it is necessary to scale them to make them fluid and playable: that we can wait, in the future, for further releases from the Polish company on Nintendo’s hybrid? For now we are in the field of fantasy (through and through), but we’ll see if there will be updates in the future – and new ports.
CD Projekt RED’s next video game, but perhaps needless to mention, is Cyberpunk 2077 , expected on December 10th on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia.
