The download remains scheduled for November 10 on Xbox Series X | S and November 12 on PlayStation 5.
However, players who want to enjoy their physical copy complete with a special custom cover will have to wait a few more weeks.
The reason behind the disconnect between the two versions is not clear, but at least this solution will allow you to have an extra game at the launch of next-gen platforms.
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will take advantage of different features of the two machines, starting with much faster loading times.
From a technical point of view, there will be 120fps modes or a 30fps frame rate with ray tracing , although the latter will not arrive immediately on Xbox Series X | S.
Among the various novelties of this edition there will also be a new difficulty level, Turbo mode and Vergil as a playable character.
If you can’t resist the wait or only have PS4 available, you can get basic Devil May Cry 5 at a discounted price on Amazon
