According to Michael Pachter, Death Stranding will be a cross-gen title, it will be released on both PS4 and PlayStation 5.

The analyst explained that “probably Death Stranding will be a cross-generational title” in the framework of his judgment of the Sony E3 formulated to the GamingBolt microphones.

“It’s hard to know with Sony, their showcase was really hard to understand, and they did not speak at all,” Pachter said.

“My inclination is that PS5 will come out in 2020, so there was no reason to announce any exclusive current-gen other than those announced so far.”
