Cyberpunk 2077 has been postponed to December 10th.
A new 21-day delay for the RPG shooter originally scheduled for last April, then for September and finally for 19 November.

CD Projekt RED explained that he understands the «so many emotions and questions in your heads, so first, accept our humble apologies » .
«The biggest challenge for us right now is to deliver the game on current-gen, next-gen and PC at the same time, which requires preparing and testing 9 versions (Xbox One / X, compatibility on Xbox Series S / X, PS4 / Pro, compatibility on PS5, PC, Stadia)… while we work from home », argued the Polish studio.

The software house also specified that the fact that all these are happening after entering the Gold phase, a more unique than rare case in the history of gaming, implies that « many improvements are being made and will be distributed in a Day 0 patch. This is the period whose length we underestimated ».
Something went wrong, in short, in the evaluation of the time it would take in the passage from the Gold phase , in which the disks and codes are printed, to the finalization of the patch which would contain all the refinements downloadable with a download when starting the game.
