A dataminer may have discovered the first clues about the contents of the DLC and the setting of the first expansion of Cyberpunk 2077 , in which it would be destined to arrive the New Game +.
Cyberpunk 2077 has a busy schedule for the second half of the year and 2022, made up of add-ons and more.
We’ve already appreciated in the past few days how there would be a big patch in the works at CD Projekt RED, but apparently it wouldn’t end there.
However, the original timelines for the free DLCs (other than the promised premium expansions) are skipped and we have no news of when they should arrive.
As discovered by dataminer Saint-Pirate, Cyberpunk 2077 would be destined to have transformative DLCs, not only in content but also in terms of modalities.
Sifting through the game files (via WCCFTech ), information on weapon packs with new weapons and unpublished customization options was found.
In addition, there would be whole sets of quests set in different areas of Night City and a New Game + mode.
New quests from Mr. Hands would be added after patch 1.2, as he wouldn’t appear in the title at all before.
The game would already include the first clues about one of the two paid expansions, which should retrace in quantity and structure the acclaimed ones of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt .
The first would take place in Pacifica and introduce a new combat zone, among other things.
Pacifica is one of Night City’s most typical districts, initially envisioned as a vacation spot for the wealthiest but quickly ended up in a bleak state of neglect.
In short, it would seem that the Polish house has put its darkest hour behind it and is working on the future of the project as planned.
Undoubtedly the return (of great success) on PlayStation Store, after a long pilgrimage, contributed to this.
This comeback has given a significant boost to sales of all versions, not just the digital ones but the physical ones as well.
All while fans eagerly await the arrival of the patch that will introduce next-gen support.
