Years after the exit, the Cyberpunk 2077 community continues to discover secrets and details that add depth to a story already full of twists and turns. The last detail that emerged concerns the betrayal of Dex Deshawn, one of the key moments that mark the life of V, the protagonist of the game of CD Projekt Red.
Anyone who has played remembers the sequence well: after a mission that went wrong, Dex finds no other solution if not shooting in burning to the head of V, in a gesture that betrays any trust built up to that moment. But some fans noticed how the game, in reality, had left small signals before everything happened.
The first clue is linked to the car with which Dex accompanies V to their first meeting. The vehicle presents the so -called “Suicide Doors”, goalkeeper who open backwards. An apparently aesthetic detail, which, however, some players have interpreted as a metaphor: to accept to get on that machine is equivalent to signing their sentence.

Another detail concerns Misty, the medium that often accompanies the protagonist. At one point he warns about V with advice: “Stay from the red”. And just at the decisive Dex presents himself with bright red clothes, like an omen that anticipates his betrayal.
It is not clear whether CD Projekt Red has really thought of these details such as intentional Foreshadowing or if they are lucky coincidences. However, the community has enthusiastically welcomed these theories, underlining how the game still manages to surprise even after more runs. Some fans speak of “shots of genius”, others instead hypothesize that they have been small touches of style remained in the background.
What is certain is that Cyberpunk 2077 continues to prove to be a title full of shades and mysteries, capable of keeping the discussion alive years after the launch. And with the following already in pre-production, it is inevitable to ask how many other secrets, quotes and hidden clues CD Projekt Red will decide to disseminate in the next chapter of the saga.
