Crash Team Racing collects funds for veterans

These are certainly lively days for Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled : after the debut of the new Halloween themed Grand Prix, Activision and Beenox have also launched another initiative, which allows you to buy the special Firehawk kart knowing that what you pay for it will be donated entirely to charity.

This special medium, available only for players in the US and UK, is a tribute to the military world – and not by chance: the funds that will be collected from its sale will be donated to the Call of Duty Endowment , the charity initiative that helps veterans, upon their return from missions, to reintegrate and learn a new job when they have finished serving. To be donated, Activision emphasizes, will be 100% of the funds.

Currently, the Call of Duty Endowment has helped over 60,000 veterans find a new job and targets the 100,000 target by 2024. The fact that the special kart is for sale only in the UK and the USA is linked to the detail that, for the moment, the charity is helping soldiers in these two countries. In the future, however, Beenox does not exclude the arrival of the kart also for other markets.

Please note that Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled is available on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. For any further details on the game, consult our card.
