There may be imminent news regarding the new PS5 model, much talked about in recent weeks and which would replace the current versions of the current-gen Sony console.
The console that hosts productions such as God of War Ragnarok (which you can find on Amazon) would in fact be about to receive a second model designed to meet the high demand from the ‘user.
Insider Tom Henderson said in fact that he has heard from at least two people that the test kit for a PS5 with the removable disk drive is already being tested.
Now, as Japanese stores begin to see PS5s finally appearing on the shelves, there are many to believe that tonight we could see the new PlayStation 5 in action, even if some are skeptical of the thing.
Also according to Henderson, during the Sony conference at CES 2023 scheduled for this very night, the Japanese company will not officially unveil the new PS5 with removable player.
The well-known insider thinks that the Sony conference at CES will focus on PlayStation VR2, given that it would be too early to show the public a new model of PlayStation 5.
More probable, for Henderson, that the new PS5 can be shown during next summer, with a launch set for September. Obviously, in any case, these are speculations not confirmed by any official announcement.
Personally, not too sure as it is scheduled to launch in September 2023. Maybe an announcement in the summer would make more sense.

Just a few days ago, Henderson had decided to also make his predictions about important announcements of games – and not only – that we could expect to see in 2023.
But not only that: the hope is that the inventory problem is largely overcome, with 2023 which could be the year in which we start to leave behind the lack of units in stores.
Finally, Sony has decided to celebrate the beginning of 2023 by updating its selection of offers on the PlayStation Store, renewing the January Discounts with over 1000 new items on offer.
