Can Ninja Gaiden return? «We will make exciting new games»

March 2, 2024 was a very special day for Ryu Hayabusa fans: last day we celebrated the 20th anniversary of Ninja Gaiden, the first chapter of the new trilogy.\r\nToday it is possible to rediscover the complete editions of all 3 the chapters thanks to the recent Master Collection (you can find the physical collectible version on Amazon), but in fact almost 12 years have now passed since the release of Razor’s Edge, an improved version of the third episode.\r\nTeam Ninja’s statements on a possible return of the saga have always been very nebulous, but on the occasion of the 20th anniversary we may have witnessed a first sign of opening.\r\nFumihiko Yasuda, head of Team Ninja, wanted to celebrate this anniversary with fans on social media, sharing a very interesting special message:\r\n\r\n«Since the launch of Ninja Gaiden on March 2, 2004, we have felt extraordinary support and have listened carefully to the voices of our most devoted fans over the years. We genuinely feel and appreciate your enthusiasm. And for this reason, we would like to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts.\r\nTeam Ninja will continue to dedicate ourselves to making exciting new games for all of you to enjoy. Therefore we hope to be able to count on your continued support for what comes in the future.”\r\n\r\n\r\nA message that on the one hand celebrates the anniversary of Ninja Gaiden, but on the other it has not yet exposed on the possibility of creating new video games, even if the admission of having always listened to fans’ requests and having underlined that he wanted to create others on such an important occasion can at least give the public hope.\r\nFor how much it would have been A clearer stance is more welcome, there are good reasons to hope for the imminent return of Ryu Hayabusa with new challenging adventures: we will continue to monitor the situation and will keep you updated with all the latest news.\r\nFor the moment, We remind you that Team Ninja is about to launch Rise of the Ronin on the market, its new heir to NiOh which will also include an easy difficulty.\r\nIf you’re feeling nostalgic for Ninja Gaiden and want to recover the Master Collection, we’ll reveal everything to you what you need to know about it in our dedicated review.
