For months Call of Duty: Warzone mounted a stellar hype anticipating a major nuclear event that was supposed to wipe out the battle royale map known as Verdansk , introducing a brand new one.
After various rumors, corrections and rumors that later turned out to be false, Activision seems to have now finally confirmed the exact date and time of the Warzone.

The official Twitter account of Call of Duty has recently uploaded a short teaser trailer showing what appears to be the zombie symbol with the date of April 21 , or next Wednesday, at 21:00 Italian time . Find the video a little further down, in the dedicated twee:
???? 4.21.21.
The end is near… #Warzone pic.twitter.com/M3CVYCC4BC
– Call of Duty ???? (@CallofDuty) April 13, 2021
The teaser is accompanied by the text “The end is near.” , which suggests that the Warzone big bang is really upon us (so much so that a March a fan had already imagined Verdansk’s explosion in truly amazing artwork).
It appears that the nuclear bomb will hit the dam area , which presumably will mean that all of that part of the scenario will be completely missing from the new map. Of course, it’s also possible that this teaser is for something completely different (although that seems highly unlikely). Stay with us so as not to miss any updates on this issue.
