Nvidia and Activision announced today that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available bundled with GeForce RTX.
For a limited time, players will receive a copy of the title, which is scheduled for launch on October 25th. This will be possible with the purchase of an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 2080 SUPER, 2080, 2070 SUPER, 2070, 2060 SUPER or laptop or desktop equipped with an RTX 2060 GPU.
As the game’s official PC partner, Nvidia has worked closely with Activision and Infinity Ward to integrate real-time ray tracing and Nvidia Adaptive Shading into the game.
“Real-time ray tracing is changing the way games are created and dramatically increases image quality”, they explain to us from the Asian house about this great technical innovation.
“Ray tracing is based on a solid ecosystem that includes industry standard API (Application Programming Interface), supported by a series of very popular game engines”.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one of the first triple-A titles to adopt technology before the advent of the new generation of Project Scarlett and PS5 consoles.
