Bully, the Rockstar remake not out? The fans think about it

For years we have been talking about the possibility of one day seeing Bully 2 , the sequel to the controversial Rockstar Games adventure known to us as Canis Canem Edit .

The game immersed the player in a context quite distant from the classic Grand Theft Auto (which you can also find on Amazon), since the events took place in an American college.

Several months ago, news broke that Rockstar would be canceling the sequel in 2017 to focus on other projects, including of course Grand Theft Auto 6.

If so a Bully 2 or even just a remake of the first chapter seem now out of the question, now a fan has performed a half miracle.

As also reported by DSO Gaming , the now well known TeaserPlay has released a new video showing what a modern Bully remake might look like with the Unreal Engine 5 .

The author has recreated a series of game environments, also showing some characters that look alike in everything and for everything to those in the game.

The new 3D models appear much more detailed than the original 128-bit version. The bad news is that they don’t measure up to what you’d expect from a true UE5 remake.

Let’s not forget, though, that this is a fan-made project, and not an actual game made by a triple-A studio the size of Rockstar.

For this video, TeaserPlay used Lumen, Nanite and Ray Tracing, so as not to miss anything. Additionally, he used Metahuman to create the faces of Jimmy Hopkins and Dr. Crabblesnitch .

After all, the first Bully has become over the years a small cult title, as we told you in our rich special about the game that you we recommend recovering.

But that’s not all: Rockstar Games publishes lots of new job offers: isn’t the development of GTA 6 going as planned?
