Gearbox today announced its ambitious Borderlands 2 VR via a post on PlayStation Blog. If you think this is an adaptation of the complete VR gaming experience, know that it’s not the developer’s idea: indeed, the intent is to revive exactly the same game, but in virtual reacl and with special skills for the occasion, without cutting its contents.
The & # 8217; appointment with the & # 8217; output, exclusively on PlayStation VR, has been set for December 14, with the cost of the list that should be around the 50â,¬.
Explains Brian Burleson, project producer:
After bringing the game to PS4 as part of The Handsome Collection in 2016, we immediately began to brainwind on how to transport the VR gaming experience and how to take advantage of PS VR’s potential. After spending so many years immersed in the world and the characters in the series, we were thrilled to use PS VR in order to have an even more immersive experience.
The main novelty of Borderlands 2 VR is our “bullet-time” version, called “BAMF Time” (or “BadAss Mega Fun Time” if you do not like the abbreviations). Activating the “BAMF Time” you get the speed and reflexes of a rabid skag, and you can dodge bullets, score 360 ° head shots without using the viewfinder and even use your action skills to fight the hordes of bandits , bullymong and any other threat present on Pandora.
The four original heroes of the game will return, while some skills have been rebalanced for an experience that no longer provides the possibility of co-op:
Among other things, you will also be able to drive vehicles in subjective, thanks to the VR, driving and giving a look to the weapons of your vehicle at the same time.
How do you think the & # 8217; idea of \ u200b \ u200bthe Borderlands 2 VR landing on PS VR?
