Blizzard: Mike Morhaime is no longer the president

Unexpected change to the Blizzard guide.
A few hours ago he announced that he had left the chair of the company Mike Morhaime, co-founder of the Califrian studio in 1991 (at the time it was known as Silicon & amp; Synapse).
His place will be taken by J. Allen Brack, veteran producer of World of Warcraft, who for the occasion welcomed Ray Gresko, chief development officer, and Allen Adham, founder of the company in which he returned for two years, in the management team.
Morhaime will remain in the sphere of influence of the company with a role as strategic advisor.
& amp; # 8220; After so many years working with some of the most talented people in the industry to make games and worlds for you to play, I decided it’s time for someone else to drive Blizzard Entertainment & # 8221 ;, we read in a part of the open letter of the now former president.
The next appointment with the Irvine studio is the Switch version of Diablo III, scheduled for November, and to BlizzCon could come other announcements on the franchise.
