Black Myth Wukong will undoubtedly be one of the most interesting video games of the year, even for Xbox players although they will have to wait longer before they can get their hands on it.\r\nThe title from the Chinese developer Game Science is already, moreover, one of the most anticipated games by players who have already rewarded it in a certain sense on Steam, complete with touting regarding collector’s editions.\r\nAfter Stellar Blade (you can find it on Amazon), therefore, another AAA video game from the world of oriental development it arrives all over the world and is preparing to establish itself on the market.\r\nThe success of Stellar Blade, moreover, has led the development team to consider in a very concrete way a possible sequel, which at the moment is under discussion.\r\nAnd, just like the title starring Eve, Black Myth Wukong will not be on Xbox as previously announced, but there is a reason.\r\n«We are currently optimizing the Xbox Series to meet our quality standards,” said Game Science (via Windows Central).\r\nOnce again, therefore, a developer finds himself in difficulty developing on the Xbox Series S, obviously, which has always been the most complicated to port to.\r\nBut when is Black Myth Wukong coming to Xbox? Here is Game Science’s response:\r\n\r\n«So it will not be published at the same time as the other platforms. We apologize for the delay and aim to keep the wait for Xbox users to a minimum. We will announce the release date as soon as it meets our quality standards.”\r\n\r\nIn a direct question to Microsoft about the matter, the company responded:\r\n\r\n”We are excited about the launch of Black Myth Wukong on Xbox Series X|S and we are working with Game Science to bring the game to our platforms. We can’t comment on agreements our partners have with other platform holders, but we remain focused on making Xbox the best platform for gamers, and great games are at the heart of that.”\r\n\r\nA classic non-answer which, however, reminds us how developers are increasingly in difficulty, reaching the point of thinking about abandoning Xbox. At least Capcom did it, with its latest title.
