ASUS has announced TUF Gaming VG259QM and VG279QM , two monitors designed for gaming with a refresh rate up to 280Hz in FHD (1920 x 1080).
Together with the two TUF monitors the ROG Strix XG279Q , a 27-inch gaming monitor with WQHD resolution (2560 X 1440) and refresh rate at 170Hz.
The three new monitors use ASUS FastIPS technology to achieve a response time of just 1ms, they boast a contrast of 1000: 1 and thanks to ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB) eliminate ghosting and other visual artifacts.
ASUS FastIPS technology uses higher speed from liquid crystals to reach a speed that is four times faster than that of traditional IPS panels.
This allows warnings r VG279QM, VG259QM and XG279Q to achieve 1ms of true gray-to-gray (GTG) response, to have sharper colors, better image quality and eliminate display errors.
The TUF Gaming VG279QM and VG259QM monitors cover the 99% sRGB color space, while the ROG Strix XG279Q offers 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. All three displays offer 1000: 1 contrast with a viewing angle of 178 °.
In addition, the monitors are certified DisplayHDR 400 and exploited ASUS Dynamic technology Shadow Boost to automatically lighten dark areas and improve the actions in play in dark areas.
