Artist of the series Mana anticipates the announcement of a new console game during the summer

During a panel at the Bitsummit event held at the Miyako Messe in Kyoto, Shinichi Kameoka, co-founder of Brownies, who many will know for being the artist who created the characteristic style of the Mana series and for his recent mobile title Egglia: Legend of the Redcap, spoke about the future of his study.

Kameoka explained that when he was in charge of Brownie Brown, a subsidiary owned by Nintendo, he only worked for the big N’s consoles. Now that he has his own company, he can take care of anything. One of the first projects was Egglia for smartphones, but fans will receive information about a new console title during the next summer.

Kameoka had already anticipated his return to cnsole earlier, only mentioning that the game would be shown by the end of the year. Apparently, however, things seem to be going quite well as times have become shorter.

For the moment we just have to wait a few more weeks to find out more.
