SEGA Ages: Sonic The Hedgehog 2 , title now available on Nintendo eShop in Japan at the price of 999 yen, will also come to us starting from the next February 20 .

After showing you the launch trailer, the guys from GameXplain have released a gameplay video in which they show off the new version of this great 16-bit classic.

Recall that the original game, released in 1993 as a sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog, also had a well-known following like Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in 1994.

The title will offer several mo dality including the “Original Mode” (reproduction of the original version), the “Ring Keep Mode” (for beginners), ending with the “Super Sonic Mode” and “Knuckles in Sonic The Hedgehog 2”.
