Activision has officially announced Call of Duty Warzone Mobile , a title that – as the name suggests – is aimed solely and exclusively at the smartphone.
The game will therefore have nothing to do with the latest regular chapter of the saga, namely Vanguard (which you can find at a bargain price on Amazon ), instead bringing the battle royale war on mobile systems .
All while Activision Blizzard is officially preparing the new Call of Duty event that will allow us to discover in more detail the news coming to Warzone 2 .
In a message accompanying the Warzone Mobile video teaser also reported by VGC , the publisher has stated that it intends to unveil the title in its entirety over the course of next week .
The Call of Duty Next event, which takes place on September 15th , will include not only the first news on Warzone Mobile , but also new details on Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 .
Activision announced in March that it is working on a mobile version of Call of Duty Warzone , the free-to-play game released in 2020 that attracted 100 million players in just 13 months.
«Our mission with Project Aurora , the code name of our new mobile title, is to bring together friends, families and people from around the world into a global community of gamers with a fast, accurate and high-quality battle royale action experience that offers a new way to play », said Activision.
The game entered closed alpha by invitation in May. Shortly thereafter, Warzone Mobile gameplay videos began leaking.
These revealed that the battle royale title will immerse us once again in the Verdansk map, originally featured in the console and PC version of Warzone .
Staying on the subject, a well-known and reliable insider would also have already unveiled the map of the new Warzone 2 in advance, also including what the points of interest will be.
But that’s not all: While the franchise is known to be returning soon with Modern Warfare 2 , new rumors have emerged about the upcoming Call of Duty 2024 .
