In a recent interview with Famitsu, Masayoshi Yokoyama, producer of Yakuza: Like a Dragon , announced that Sega will soon release a demo of the title, even if not has specified a precise release date.

This demo version will be an updated edition of the one shown at the Tokyo Game Show 2019, offering a combat system identical to the definitive one.

Yakuza Like a Dragon introduces a new main character for the first time since the beginning of the series, which debuted over a decade ago – Ichiban Kasuga, a low-level member of the yakuza who tries to demonstrate his potential. This new chapter follows Ichiban Kasuga and his heterogeneous group of unlikely allies as they try to reach a higher status in this modern human drama.
