A couple of days ago the curtain was raised on Alan Wake Remastered , thanks to an open letter published by the game’s visionary director, Sam Lake .
The title, which represents the reissue of the original Alan Wake (a true cult for Xbox 360 ), will return in a new edition with a revised and corrected graphics.
The announcement has in fact sent fans of the cursed writer into jujube soup, who have been waiting for a return of the franchise for years.
After all, a retailer had recently let slip the remaster of the game, although now pre-orders have even been opened on Amazon Italy.
Surprisingly, the well-known retailer has in fact kicked off the pre-orders of the game coming out at the end of the year, offered at a very low price.
Alan Wake Remastered , in packaged version for PS5 console, is in fact offered to only 29.99 euros, although the title does not yet have a more precise release date.
But that’s not all: together with the opening of the pre-orders, the first official images of the game have also appeared, which you can find in the gallery below (via Amazon UK ):
We remind you that the game will be published in partnership with Epic Games Store (which will have the exclusive PC), but will also be available on Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
In doing so, Alan Wake officially became a cross-platform title after being Xbox and Windows PC exclusive for years.
Sam Lake revealed that Alan Wake Remastered “is the original experience you fell in love with all those years ago. We didn’t want to change it. ”
And again, «Everything you see, including Alan Wake’s character model and cutscenes, has been updated and improved using some of the new generation technologies.»
So this is an excellent return: who knows if this could also happen to another great Remedy character, Max Payne.
Not to mention the announcement of a real Alan Wake 2 , of which, unfortunately, very little is known at the moment.
Finally, remember that Alan had returned to the Control DLC, thus expanding the shared universe of Remedy.
