Resident Evil 4 Remake will be released in just a handful of days, although apparently fans are already thinking about what other makeover they would like from Capcom in the future.
The remake of the fourth episode of the survival horror series (which you can find on Amazon at a considerable price) is ready to bring back characters and situations seen in the fourth chapter of the Biohazard saga, with due differences.
In the review of the remake of the fourth chapter published a few hours ago, we explained to you that the game «perfectly succeeds and gives new light to a timeless masterpiece, which boasts numerous improvements and eliminates those out of place elements that over time they have lost their polish.”
Now, between one version with fixed cameras and another, it really seems that players have ideas clear on which remake Capcom should make after RE4, namely the one of Code Veronica.
Via ResetEra, a survey conducted by in fact, a user asks players if one day they would like to see a real remake of Resident Evil Code Veronica.
The game in question – originally released on the SEGA Dreamcast – is one of those titles that fans have been asking for a remake for some time, although Capcom hasn’t announced anything official yet, nor does it seem to have any intention of doing so, at least in the short term.
At the time of writing, the survey scores 78.4% in favor of a remake of Code Veronica , while only 21.6% are absolutely against a remake of the game.
In the comments to the post, some also ask for a remake of Resident Evil 5, thus continuing the “new narrative” inaugurated by Capcom. We’ll see if and how the Japanese publisher will satisfy the wishes of the fans.
The desire for a remake appears even more evident in the unofficial fanmade remake of Resident Evil Code Veronica, which was being made by an Iberian enthusiast a few months ago.
But not only that: another fan has set up a demake of the entire Code Veronica, without cuts or limitations, with the same fixed cameras and tank controls as the original game.
