In these hours, several users are reporting serious problems with just starting Xbox games on their platform.
Also according to what was reported by Tom Warren of The Verge , it seems that some kind of technical problem is limiting access to most of the European users in possession of an Xbox console.
At the moment, therefore, players are unable to start the titles in their library, including those in the Game Pass catalog.
A little further down, Warren’s tweet which further confirms the problem.

Many users are in fact noticing the error message at startup: “The person who bought this must log in “.
Today’s error message suggests some kind of authentication issue that prevents some Xbox owners from accessing their digital games.
The problems started around 1:00 pm Italian time: apparently Microsoft is aware of the block, marking the outage as “serious” .
The rest of the Xbox Live service, including the Xbox network itself, appears to be working fine, both in terms of Party Chat, LFG and all other sections currently regularly accessible.
Xbox Live last “crashed” last month, along with a problem with Microsoft Teams.
A rather daunting moment for Microsoft, as Sony’s deal with Discord was “blown” by Sony just a few days ago.
But that’s not all: the House of Redmond recently took stock of some market mechanisms, also hinting at an exclusive Xbox timeline.
Finally, we remind you that from today the Xbox Game Pass catalog has been enriched with three new free games (and there is also FIFA 21).
