A video takes us (literally) behind the scenes of Uncharted 2

A new film published by the youtuber Chesez allows us to literally go behind the scenes of Uncharted 2: In the Thieves’ Lair to see the events of the game from a different perspective.

Using a software debug, the youtuber – in the new installment of his Boundary Break column – has fun exploring the location of the title to discover the tricks used by Naughty Dog and see some of the most spectacular sequences from a particular angle.

For example, the now historic train scene, in which Nathan Drake has to cross the interior of a carriage in a hurry to avoid ending up in a cliff, hides a little secret.

The carriage remains in fact “clinging” to the ground for much longer than it would in reality, so as to allow the good Nate to save the skin in a reasonable time.

Another special feature is the start screen of the game. In Uncharted 2, this is literally contained within an ad hoc box and, by putting a Drake model on it, it is even possible to explore it and perform the typical climbs of the franchise.

In the video below you will find a lot of curiosity that will amuse you, if like us you are gamers curious to know what is beyond the “deception” created by the developers.

Good vision!
