During yesterday evening, in a completely unexpected way, it was confirmed that Silent Hill is really going to have some news, since Konami announced a dedicated event next Wednesday.

The famous survival horror saga, which you can also find on Amazon , is therefore preparing to return to the scene , after an absence of too many years.

Konami’s announcement was unfortunately accompanied only by a generic logo and the official website, currently lacking substantial information.

Waiting to find out about the new event, and after the first confirmations about upcoming announcements, it may now be done next one of the – alleged – actors who could take part in a new Silent Hill .

Elijah Wood , an actor best known for playing Frodo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, has in fact shared via Twitter the Konami’s announcement regarding the event scheduled for October 19th.

With the post, Wood has indeed suggested his involvement in the project , although there is obviously nothing official yet.

We remember that the actor has long been involved in the world of video games, thanks also and above all for his dubbing work for the crazy character of Nick Johnsmith in Psychonauts 2 .
