2021 did not start under the best auspices for postponements .
2020 had already put us to the test particularly from this point of view, but the predictions of those who warned that this year would be even worse are slowly coming true.
Within a few days we saw the postponement of Returnal , the exclusive PS5 of Housemarque, as well as that of Hogwarts Legacy .
Although it is not official, it seems that Pragmata by Capcom , by one year, has also been postponed, while the farewell to the window has been confirmed February issue of Ubisoft’s Riders Republic .

God of War Ragnarok was announced last September with a launch set generically for 2021 but, with already Horizon Forbidden West scheduled for this year, many think it will postpone at least to the first half of 2022. On the other hand, it has not yet been ruled out that it will also be released on PS4.
Cyberpunk 2077 will officially receive the next-gen update for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S in the second half of 2021, as per the recently provided roadmap, but CD Projekt has a long tradition of referrals and indeed a new slip wouldn’t be too surprising.
Stray is the inspired feline indie coming to PC and PS5, indicated as coming (apparently) in October 2021 but seems to be among the eligible candidates for the postponement. GhostWire Tokyo is also slated for October but we have heard so little about it – and Bethesda already has Arkane’s Deathloop due out in May – which wouldn’t be amazing if it was postponed.
Finally, the situation of Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is quite complicated after the departure of the creative director: last August it was postponed to a generic 2021 but we still don’t know anything about it. / p>
