The PC requirements of Ninja Gaiden 4 revealed, begin to make room

The return of the historic Hack-and-and-Lash series of Team Ninja promises to be demanding for PC players, especially on the technical front, since you shouldn’t have problems.
In fact, Ninja Gaiden 4 will require 100 GB of free space and the mandatory use of an SSD, a necessary condition to guarantee loading times and acceptable performance. The Steam of the Game page also confirmed the forced use of AMD’s Upscaling FSR technology, indispensable even on the most powerful configurations.

The requested space could be an obstacle for many users: 100 GB equals a fifth of the capacity of a 500 GB SSD, forcing those who still use mechanical records to move on to more modern solutions.
The choice to make the SSD mandatory shows that the title has been designed by thinking exclusively of this technology, today standard on new generation consoles.
The minimum configuration indicated includes processors such as Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3400g, with 16 GB of RAM and a mid-range GPU such as GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB or Radeon RX 590 8 GB. With these specifications, the game aims to run in 1080p at 30 fps, but only with FSR in low mode and graphic settings reduced to a minimum.
A significant detail is the obligation to use upscaling also to these settings, a sign that the Ninja Gaiden 4 graphic engine is particularly demanding and aims at a high visual standard.
For a better experience, Team Ninja recommends an Intel Core i5-10400 or a Ryzen 5 3600, always with 16 GB of RAM, combined with GeForce RTX 2060 Super or Radeon RX 5700XT. In this case you can play 1080p and 60 fps, keeping the FSR active and graphic quality on average level.
It affects the fact that both configurations fix the required memory to 16 GB, without differences between minimal and recommended: the weight of the performance therefore falls above all on CPU and GPU. Instead, information is missing on the requirements for 4K or for Ultra settings, which promise much more demanding given the need for resources already at the basic level.
The launch of Ninja Gaiden 4 is set for October 21 on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. A date that marks not only the return of an icon of the action genre, but also an important challenge for the hardware of the players, called to squeeze their systems to the maximum.
