Videogame summers are often characterized by updates that promise to renew the interest for already published securities, and Ubisoft is no exception with its summer roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
The French giant has outlined a series of novelties that will arrive in the game set in feudal Japan, with the declared objective to expand the gaming experience and respond to the requests of the community.
The approach chosen by the Software House clearly aims to keep alive the engagement of the five million players who have already embarked on their journey in the Japanese sixteenth century.
On July 29th it will mark the arrival of the New Game+ mode for Assassin’s Creed Shadows (here our review), a feature that will allow players to start the adventure again while maintaining some acquired progress.
The mechanics works according to the classic scheme of the genre: the narrative progression, the uncovered locations and the objectives completed will be zeroed, while the level of the character, equipment, degree of knowledge and progress of the refuge will remain intact.
The developers have foreseen two options for the Restart: starting from the absolute start or jump directly to the moment in which the refuge is inherited, bypassing the prologue.
Parallel to the introduction of the New Game+, Ubisoft will raise the level cap from 60 to 80 levels, introducing new degrees of knowledge and skill.

The refuge will receive particular attention with new upgrades for buildings, especially for forge, while fans of grinding will be able to devote themselves to a third shadow project that will include new resources, data files and the animus themed rewards.
The most substantial update is scheduled for the beginning of September, labeled as update dedicated to \
